Project Rachel Ministry is a Catholic outreach to offer confidential help and hope to women and men who are suffering after an abortion.
Abortion is a life-changing event that can have long-term emotional, spiritual, and physical impacts on both women and men. Modern society does not publicly acknowledge the traumatic loss of abortion, but your grief is real and you do not have to carry this burden alone. You may be suffering from negative emotions and behaviors such as guilt, sadness, despair, anxiety, addictions, disordered eating, or sleep disturbances. The trauma of abortion can manifest differently in each person, but you do not have to suffer in silence. If you are looking for healing after an abortion, no matter how long ago it took place, we are here to extend Christ’s love and reconciliation to you.
If you or someone you know is suffering after an abortion, please call or text the Wyoming Project Rachel referral line at 307-222-8430. One of our compassionate advocates will listen to you, pray with you, and accompany you on your healing journey. Our advocates can help connect you with local resources such as specially trained priests for spiritual advice and the sacrament of Reconciliation or Catholic mental health professionals that specialize in trauma-related care.
